4. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 113 Scholarship 2026

The American Legion Auxiliary of Unit 113 is offering a $1000 scholarship to graduating seniors. Applications are due by April 15, 2026, and can be downloaded at American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship


5. American Legion Auxiliary Children of Warriors National Presidents' Scholarship

This is a national scholarship worth $5000 from the American Legion Auxiliary. Applications are due by March 1, 2026.

Children of Warriors Scholarship Information

  • Candidates for this award shall be direct descendants of veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion: April 6, 1917, to November 11, 1918; and any time after December 7, 1941. Membership in The American Legion Family is not required for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must be in their senior year of high school.
  • Applicants must complete 50 hours of volunteer service within the community during their high school years. Hours must be verified in writing by the recipient organization(s).
  • Essay answers must have a minimum of 600 characters in length. This requirement ensures that responses are detailed enough to fully address the question given. All essays will be reviewed using AI tools to help ensure originality. These tools assist in identifying potential plagiarism and detecting AI-generated content. Applicants that rely heavily on AI will be disqualified.
  • Judging, at all levels, shall be on the following basis:
    • 30% - Character/Leadership
    • 30% - Essay/Application
    • 40% - Academic Achievement

 


 


 


9. Garden Club of Elizabethtown Scholarship

The Garden Club of Elizabethtown is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who is planning to major or minor in agriculture, floriculture, horticulture, plant pathology, landscape design, botany, biology, forestry, ecology, environmental issues, city (urban and rural) planning, land management, agronomy, wildlife science, or related subjects. This includes a letter discussing  your goals for the future, in no more than 300 words. The application is due by April 1, 2026, and can be found at Garden Club Scholarship .


 


11. University of Kentucky Athletic Training Scholarship Program

The University of Kentucky is looking for high school seniors that are interested in a career in health care and will be attending the University of Kentucky next fall. They have an athletic training student aide program that is a great opportunity to get some experience in health care with some scholarship opportunities. Below are attached a formal letter, an information sheet, and an application. The application deadline is February 15th, 2026.

13. Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society Scholarships 

BIACS is pleased to offer several ($1500 and $1000) Merit and Need based scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. $1000- $3000 merit and or need based scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors applying to a community college.

Scholarship Applications will be accepted electronically through February 28, 2026 The portal is now open for the 2026 applications.

Scholarships will be awarded at the Bluegrass Indo-American Civic Society Annual Scholarship presentation.  Banquet will be held in Lexington, KY and the date will be announced soon. Awardees must attend the event in-person to accept the award at the presentation; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the award. Announcing new guidelines for the TOYOTA Scholarships

This year we will be recognizing four to six students as Toyota scholars, and each will receive a cash award of either $1000 or $1500. To qualify a student must meet all the scholarships requirements listed below. In addition, they must declare Engineering as their college major.

Application Requirements

●       Minimum GPA: 3.0 (merit based), 2.5 (merit or need based)

●       Resume: 2 page limit, use of template resume is recommended

●       Personal Essay: 250-word limit (tell us why you need this scholarship and any other information not covered in your resume) Helpful hints listed below

●       Letter of recommendation: At least one LOR required. Must show your name, address and name of your school. Must be written by a faculty member at your current academic institution, who is familiar with your academic standing and/or financial need. Letters by family members/relatives will not be considered.

 


 


16. ECTC Scholarship Application Program

ECTC has opened their Scholarship portal as of December 1, 2025.

17. Cancer Pathways Essay Contest

Cancer Pathways 2026 Teen Writing Contest is open! This national contest encourages teens in grades 9-12 to write about their experience with cancer for the opportunity to win one of several $1,000 prizes. The deadline for entries is February 27th, 2026. 


18. American Legion Hardin Post 113 Scholarship

The American Legion Post 113 offers a scholarship to a graduating senior each year. Applications can be downloaded at American Legion Scholarship, and applications are due back to the Post by April 15, 2026

 


21. Foundation 469 Scholarship Program

Foundation 649, a nonprofit that provides scholarships to Asian American and Pacific Islander students is now accepting applications for their 2026 scholarship to graduating Asian American/Pacific Islander high schoolers (4 awards of $1,000 USD over 4 years). This is Their seventh year sponsoring the scholarship, and students can apply on the site at www.foundation649.com

 


22. Hardin County Playhouse Scholarship

The Hardin County Playhouse offers the Galen Logsdon Fine Arts Scholarship to a graduating senior each year. Information and qualifications can be found at Hardin County Playhouse Scholarship and applications are due by May 1, 2026. 

 


23 Horatio Alger Scholarships

The Horatio Alger Association seeks to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students who have demonstrated integrity, determination in overcoming adversity, academic potential, personal aspirations, strength of character and financial need.

SENIORS: $10,000 to $52,000 scholarships to specific colleges and universities across the United States. Deadline Feb 15. 2026

24. Addison Jo Blair Scholarship

The Addison Jo Blair Foundation offers a scholarship to a graduating senior who has demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity in their life. 25. Fort Knox MOAA Scholarship 2026

The Fort Knox chapter of the Military Officers Association of America is offering seven scholarships this year. There is one $4500 scholarship, five $2500 scholarships, and one $1500 scholarship. Eligibility for the scholarship and other information can be found at MOAA Scholarship 2026  , and applications are due by March 13, 2026

 


26. Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship Site

The Central Kentucky Community Foundation has a scholarship hub that allows students to apply for multiple local scholarships. Students need to log in on their Scholarship Website to create their account, then they can begin applying for scholarships. Applications must be completed by March 1, 2026.  


27. Hardin County Schools Grow Your Own Scholarship Program

For students who are interested in a teaching career with Hardin County Schools, the High School Grow Your Own application is officially open.  The application is located on the HCS website under "Students" and then "Grow Your Own Teacher Education Program."  

The application deadline is March 12th at 3:30 pm.

28. Kentucky Right to Life Foundation Legacy Scholarship

The Kentucky Right to Life Foundation is offering several scholarships to graduating seniors. There is an Oratory competition with an application deadline of April 1, 2026, and a Film/Media competition also due April 1, 2026. 29. Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club Scholarship

The Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club  will again be offering scholarships to graduating seniors who qualify for the scholarships this year. Full qualifications can be found at https://www.fortknoxscc.com/single-project  and applications will be open until March 1, 2026. Past scholarship amounts have ranged from $750-$1250. 


30. Bauer Family Scholarship

The Daniel and Dely Bauer Family Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating CHHS senior who plans to attend the University of Louisville. This is a $1500 scholarship that is renewable for those who remain at U of L. Applications may be found at https://artsandsciences.louisville.edu/student-experience/scholarships-funding?search=bauer and are due by March 11, 2026 to Mr. Adams at Central Hardin. 


31. The Cecilian Bank Scholarship

The Cecilian Bank will be awarding 27 scholarships, each worth $1000, to graduating seniors in the area. Applications can be downloaded at Cecilian Bank Scholarship , and applications are due by March 27, 2026.


32. Sara Jean Parks Pendleton Scholarship

This scholarship is available for female residents of the state of Kentucky who intend to work in the medical profession and attend full time at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school in the United States. Applications can be found at Pendleton Scholarship and must be completed by May 14, 2026. 


33. Gold Vault AGCRA Scholarship

This scholarship is available to dependents or members of the AGCRA. For more information, download the flyer available at Gold Vault AGCRA Scholarship and apply by April 1, 2026. 


34 . Shelter Insurance Scholarship

The Jamie Martin Shelter Insurance Agency is offering 2 scholarships this year, each worth $1500, to a graduating senior at Central Hardin. Applications can be downloaded at Shelter Insurance Scholarship, and applications are due to Mr. Adams by March 30, 2026. 


35. Fort Knox Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (SAMC) Scholarship

The Fort Knox Chapter of SAMC is offering a scholarship to a graduating senior who meets the eligibility requirements. Application and requirements can be found at Fort Knox SAMC Scholarship , and applications are due by March 31, 2026


36. Nu Beta Zeta Betty Hamilton Scholarship

The Nu Beta Zeta chapter of Zeta Beta Phi Sorority is offering the Betty Hamilton Scholarships to  graduating Female seniors in the Fort Knox/Hardin County Area. There will be one for $2000, one for $1000, one for $500,  and one for $250. Applications can be completed online at Betty Hamilton Scholarship and applications are due by April 13, 2026. 37. Lincoln Trail Area Master Gardener Association

The Lincoln Trail Area Master Gardener Association is offering a scholarship to graduating seniors again this year. The application can be downloaded at Master Gardener Scholarship , and is due by April 15, 2026


38. WKU Bluegrass Leadership Scholarship

The WKU Bluegrass Leadership Scholarship is a competitive award given to students selected by the WKU Student Government Association to outstanding high school seniors who will attend WKU in the upcoming fall term. Recipients are recognized for their exceptional leadership and meaningful contributions to their schools and communities—often serving as class presidents, student government members, drum majors, or other key leadership roles.  The award is a $1,000 one-time scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to ten students and is due April 3rd, 2026

39. Hardin County COPE Coalition Scholarship

The Hardin County COPE Coalition is offering a $500 one-time scholarship to a graduating CHHS Senior. Applications are available at COPE Coalition Scholarship , and must be submitted to the Youth Service Center by March 27, 2026. 


40. Fort Knox Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Scholarship

The Fort Knox Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is accepting applications for our Annual Student of the Year Scholarship Award for 2025-2026 High School Males who are seniors.

All applications will be reviewed and graded at that time and ranked in order. The top two student applicants will be awarded a one-time $500.00 Student of the Year Award. The winners will be presented scholarship check on May 15, 2026, at the chapter office located on Fort Knox, KY.


41. Sigma Alpha Epsilon Balanced Man Scholarship

The Kentucky Epsilon chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is offering 20+ one-time scholarships totaling $5,000 to incoming male freshmen at Murray State University for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

SigEp is an undergraduate fraternity that will award over $300,000 at over 160 campuses across the country during the 2025-2026 academic year. Our mission is Building Balanced Men. The Balanced Man Scholarship rewards men who exemplify the qualities of a Sound Mind and a Sound Body, as we believe they are two ideals essential to leading a balanced life.

To qualify for the Balanced Man Scholarship, incoming students must submit an application online at https://murraystate.sigep.org/bms/ and be enrolled as a full-time student at Murray State University by June 15th.
